Scotland left-back Kieran Tierney believes Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers can navigate speculation over his future as he enters the final year of his contract.

Rodgers, 52, is yet to sign a new deal at Celtic despite holding initial talks with club executives at the end of last season, but Tierney, who returned from Arsenal this summer, believes the move will not affect the team’s form or focus.
“I don’t think he cares much สมัครสมาชิก UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีทุกวัน about the outside noise,” Tierney said.
“He will focus on his job because he knows he has a job to do and as his players, we have a duty to do our best as well.”
“That means working hard every day, no days off, really giving it your all every day.”
Tierney will return to Park Head for the first time in six years on Saturday in a friendly against Newcastle.
“It will be a very special day for me. It’s the first time in six years that I’ll be playing here. It’s been a long time and it will be a great experience for sure.”
Rodgers hardly had to give Tierney the big sell to persuade him to come back to Celtic Park, but the left-back revealed he had a laugh when pictures surfaced of the pair locked in conversation at a Celtic FC Foundation event in London last year, sending his fellow supporters into meltdown.
